Hi, my name is Marcus.

I am a doctor currently working in New Zealand as a Plastic Surgery registrar.

Drawn to the precision, practicality, and creativity involved in surgery, it is a challenging and incredibly rewarding way to help people. Through surgeries, I have the privilege of seeing my patients cured of cancers, recover function and live a better life.

An educator

Great education is irreplaceable. Individually, we need to constantly learn; improving our skills and expertise. Beyond that we must also share our experience to guide others in their growth. When done well, a teacher can inspire students, enhance their abilities and change the trajectory of their lives.

This is why I take such joy in teaching and mentoring. It is a channel where I am able to sow into the lives of others, and use what I know to help them in their learning. The gratification of seeing students improve, and the warmth of their appreciation is indescribable.

And a creator

Only I can decide what kind of legacy I will leave behind. For me, success means to create a lasting positive impact on the lives of others. To this end, I strive to care for the people around me and help those who enter my circle of influence. 

At the same time, I have learnt the importance of cultivating a fulfilling and healthy lifestyle. By creating a life that is well lived, I can better share what I have and lead others to achieve their own success.
